The Limbo

I just saw a series of clips on mainstream news, showing all the Republican loons going on and on about how Disney, because they showed some backbone and went against Desantis’ “Don’t Say Gay Bill,” are now calling Disney sex offenders/groomers. The Faux news fraudsters are on the “let’s scream sex offender train!” The Q-Anon rep, Republican Marjorie Taylor Greene, went all sex offender volcano spew, espousing her certain kind of crazy on the subject. I know we say this all the time, but how low can they go? I really hate to sound like the proverbial broken record, and I know this isn’t my first rant along these lines, but…

How low can they go? They make a bunch of make believe hay out of a huge nothing, when at the same time there are actual sex offenders in their own ranks. They are not only lower than low, they are hypocrites of the tallest order at the same damn time.

Or the Putin loving idiots. Proclaiming their dictator loving devotion on live tv. The lying ass orange idiot cleared the rails for this sort of nonsense. The Republicans turned their heads and coughed the entire time the orange one was in office. Against numerous transgressions on normal norms. No one in their party of Limbo would stand up and say anything about the lies, the deceit, the obvious mob boss “I need a favor though.” Not one single elected R has the guts, the humanity, to stand up for what is right and what is wrong.

Lies. When did absolute, unmistakable lies, become the watered down version that is referred to as “misinformation?” When did lying and cheating in plain sight become normal politics? Who is running this shit show? What happened to men and women who had the courage to stand up for what is truth, what is honor, what is honesty, and is what is love of country?

I look at the state of the R party today, and I shudder at the thought I ever voted R. Don’t worry, that will NEVER happen again! I look at the state of my country and I wonder how much more of this bullshit can I take?

Lies running rampant, not just lies but idiotic lies anyone with the simple wherewithal to do so could look into, and see it’s all a bunch of hooey. But the people that vote these morons into office have no decency themselves. If they did, they wouldn’t vote for these clown car representatives in the first place. They wouldn’t sit there and soak up Faux news propaganda, then rush off to FB, or whatever the heck they call it these days, so they can be the first on the block to share it. No, if they had a modicum of good sense they too would stop and wonder what the heck happened here? But they don’t And they won’t. It looks to me like we have a complete breakdown of Republican morality. From the top down, and the bottom up. I am not happy with the the country I used to love.

I used to be able to put aside my political differences. I used to believe we all have the the right to vote how we wanted to. I still believe that. But if you are voting R right now, you are a misguided asshat with not a single ounce of decency in your body.

I feel like I live in a shithole country. I am not pleased with this endless charade of Limbo. Someone please make it stop. I want to get off here.

I’ll probably feel better in the morning. But right now I’m hair on fire ticked off at what I have seen this country come to. And for my trouble I’ll probably get compared to the “old man yells at clouds”meme… Go ahead, I can take it. 😉

MUSINGS…

This Covid 19 virus sucks! The numbers might be flattening a bit, but not really going down much except in a few places. I can’t for the life of me understand why people want to rush things back to they way they were, when the way they were, we may never see again. It might be a few years if we make it that far. This could be a paradigm change for society. I suppose we will see, those of us who live long enough. I only hope this wave of death and misery finds its way to our rear view. Sooner the better.

It occurred to me a few days back, as tens of thousands of elderly people on SSI  (Social Security Income) are dying, and it ain’t over yet… The response from our (R) gov’t is lethargic at best, and criminal at worst. And I had a moment where I realized this is a (R) wet dream come true. All of those old people dying off, and as a result losing their SSI benefits. Sure they can’t utter a word to confirm that notion publicly, but do I think they are a bit giddy about the prospect? Yes. Yes I do. Cutting or killing SSI is a priority for many R’s. Would they stoop so low as to just let people die to help achieve that outcome? I don’t know, you tell me. The (R) party is already lower than whale shit at the bottom of the Marianas Trench. Does no one believe they can’t dig a little deeper?

The (R) party is the party of “kill the ACA”  “cut Social Security”  “loosen environmental protections”  “global warming is a hoax”  “cut food stamps and SNAP benefits”  “let the post office die if there is any chance of getting mail in ballots” and  “give give give to corporations and fuck the little people.” Oh yeah, and if you work at a meat processing plant the R’s are the party of  “Go the fuck to work! And don’t come crying to us if you get sick!” Nice people, Republicans… (sarcasm folks)

They sure as hell have convinced NO ONE (except those who think Faux News and Alex Jones types are legitimate news outlets,) that they are doing anything and everything in their power to stop, or even slow down this wave of death. In fact, as I write this they are doing EVERYTHING they can to jump start the economy, and an obvious result (to most of us,) it will undoubtedly wind up in more old people (as well a others) falling off of the SSI rosters due to premature death caused by Covid 19. Enhanced by the”golly gee willakers what can we do?” (R)  response to the outbreak. Oh happy day for Republicans across the land!

Maybe I need my tin foil hat adjusted. Or maybe I’m angling for the left leaning antithetical position of the aforementioned Faux News and Alex Jones. Trust me I don’t want the job. Maybe I’m just up to here with the antics and endless scandals of the (R) party today. Maybe as an observer of things in this world, I’m just calling it how I see it.

I can’t stress enough get out and vote come Nov. There is no other way out of this mess.

Republicans Sicken Me.

They passed the enormous tax bill that fucks the poor and feeds the rich. Adding to our national debt by a paltry 1.5 T.

I hope that this is the last straw for all of the hangers on who really want to believe that the R’s are acting in the interests of the people. The only interest they have is how best to screw us, screw the environment, screw the planet, screw everything and everybody, and in the process line their pockets with piles of $$.

My only hope now is that Mueller is the iceburg to the Titanic. And that people come to understand what has been done to us and our country, all in the name of democracy. In the name of progress, in the name of rocket fuel to the economy.

Bullshit!

Profit and its best friend greed (Yes I stole this from our conversation Mak) is what is at work here. The absolute unscrupulous desire for a legislative win is what is at work here. These assholes passed this bill without even knowing what exactly is in it! They kept it all a big secret from everyone until they dropped it in the lap of the Senate last night, and pushed like a runaway locomotive to get it passed immediately. Before anyone could figure out what shenanigans they have pulled.

This bodes not well for our country. This is not how legislation should be done. This is running roughshod all over what is supposed to be a democracy. This is a despicable act by a desperate Senate, that is probably hoping this bill will be the crowning achievment of this administration, just before the iceburg sneaks up on them. Like the Titanic. She is sinking, and I hope each and every R that was a party to this legislation, is on board when she goes down.

Republicans Have A Cow Over Clinton Documentary

You know, I used to buy into the whole R thing. I must admit I prospered during the reign of the R’s over the last 20 years, prior to the Obama election. By then the economy had tanked, and it was a result of the R’s fleecing the system until it bled out. Even then, I voted R in the 1st Obama campaign.

Then Obama was elected president. At that moment the R’s imploded. They were absolutely horrified that a blankety blank N-word was our new president, They did not even try to hide their disgust. Anger and shock was the look on their faces, the noise from the talking heads was deafening. It was the end of the world as we know it they decried. The sky was falling and there is no place to hide, was the rhetoric.

Well, the sun still rises in the east. It still sets in the west. Best I can tell our oxygen levels are still suitable for life. My well hasn’t run dry, and the economy while still on shaky legs is trying to come back. My particular mode of making a living is still dead in the water, but that has no impact on this discussion, it is what it is.

So the 1st Obama term ended, and we had another election. Much to the dismay of the R’s, he won AGAIN! Here we go, it’s the end of the world, the sky is falling, and we are all gonna die! Guess what? We are still here, doing our best to get along in the world, hoping for something positive from our government. Yet the R’s still have their heels dug in, refusing to cooperate, and government in general is far from a state of governing. The R’s refuse to have anything to do with our blankety blank N-word president or any policy with a D on it. Shame on them.

Finally this history lesson is up to date, the R’s are in a state of disarray, desperate for a way back into power, jockeying for position for a run at the White House. So CNN is making a documentary about Hillary…and the R’s are predictably upset. Any potential threat to their position must be fought, and they are childishly threatening CNN and ABC who will also air the program, by blackballing the stations from debates. Well boo fucking hoo. Guess what R’s? I used to support your position, right up until you showed your true colors, by being racist bigots, and taking your defeats like little cry babies, pissing and moaning and refusing to cooperate with the D’s about ANYTHING, because you lost to Obama. You lost, get over it and grow the fuck up. As a result of your intolerance, racism, and bigotry, I have vowed to never vote R again. Congratulations, your demeanor has created a lifetime D.

Oh, if you are looking for a R candidate that may be able to win the next election, do try and find one that think his/her way out of a wet paper bag, and can keep their private parts…private. It would also be nice if said candidate supports science and reason, but I know I’m asking for too much. /end sarcasm… Oh wait, never mind, lifetime D remember? At this point I see no way of salvaging this D convert, The damage is done.

EDIT: The first article I saw on this story claimed ABC as the other network besides CNN, I went looking for the story again for the link, and this one claims NBC as the other network. Whatever, my outlook is the same regardless…
