It depends. If the lazy day comes after a few really busy days, then rested. But if I had something in mind I wanted to do, even just something small and unimportant, then I’ll feel unproductive. I’m stuck home on enforced rest right now, and feeling very unproductive indeed.

I’ve been self employed since I can’t remember when. There’s rarely such a thing as a day off. Even when I’m not working, I’m doing things to faciltate working. Or, I’m a damn taxi driver, getting people to/from Dr. appointments, what have you.
When I get an actual day of nothing to do, I do my best to enjoy it.
But, then I feel a little guilty for not accomplishing anything meaningful.

Depends on how many lazy days in a row it’s been, Steve?

Oh boy. Thought I was on uncommon sense. No worries—I may be old but I’m slow…

NP Mr. Jim. I have my days too! I may be slow, but I usually get there eventually. 🙂

Hi. Days when I can not get things done on the computer is because of my body not being cooperative or because I am trying really hard to do the normal home keeping stuff. How do I feel about it? Really unproductive! I have so much each day I want to do online and on my blog / others blogs I love to read, that when they build up unanswered it causes me a lot of distress. But that is me. Best wishes Shelldigger. I am so glad I started getting your posts again.
Oh OT … On a recent exchange between us, we talked about making bread. I found out what the two problems were with the homemade bread in we were making. First we tried with fake sugar and it will not work. But then when correcting that, it turns out the pan in the machine we have is the problem with short squat loafs. We switched over to making it in the mixer and using bread pans, and it comes out great. So I am back in the homemade bread business for our home. Hugs. Scottie

Glad you figured out the bread thing. Nothing better than fresh, home made bread.
