Musicians, motorcycle riders, old divers like me, and anyone with the same particular political opinions, and general outlook on life.
You don’t usually find all of that in one package. But I can make do with the right general mix.
Also, my WP blog friends figure into my acceptable friends niche. You know who you are. 😉 If distance was not an obstacle, we’d be hanging, riding, drinking, enjoying good food, and each others company. I often think there should be such a thing as a WP convention, held around the states, at different places, and dates.
We’d probably to be able to catch each other sooner or later…

Hi ShellDigger. Friend I would love to be able to hang out a few mornings once a month or two. If in the afternoon I will bring the libations of choice. If I ever win a lottery. Your “…anyone with the same particular political opinions, and general outlook on life”. Is how I feel about it. I love people. Every time I am among people I try to learn about them, talk to them about themselves, really respect them enough to pay attention to them. How better to find future friends than caring about those you meet in everyday life. I am glad to have found your blog and to have formed an online friendship with you. Hugs

It’s great enjoyment hanging with “real” people. Getting to know them, and know right off the bat they share similar worldviews.
