This Is Why I Am On Blogcation

Because the state of my country has me so pissed off right now I fear I have nothing good left to say about anything. I feel I want to reach out and knock the shit out of somebody, anybody deserving of my irritation with this countries state of affairs. This is why I have been hiding under my rock. I don’t want to be an agressive ass whose first inclination of late is that Donald Trump and every R in office needs a visit from me, for the sole purpose of punching them in the nose…

So I stay home. I venture out into my blog community rarely. I try to stay away from political posts, because I don’t want my already fuming and disgusted derriere getting knee deep in some political rant, because I do not need the frustration. So, I like my rock, I try to stay there and manage my daily activities, already full of stresses I do not need. My mother is in the H, doesn’t look good, she may die soon. I have many more stressful issues I’m trying to juggle as well, I don’t need any more bullshit. OK?

Then I get mail. From the desk of VP Mike Pence no less. A 4 page screed full of bullshit and begging for $. Ooooh, a return envelope to the Republican National Commitee, in DC no less. They want me to match this bogus check they sent for $35. Because it is so important that they have the $ they need to put their R cronies in office. Well I have taken the liberty of scanning this 4 page load of steaming BS for your pleasure. As well as my reply, which I will sign with my real name and stuff in the envelope they so graciously gave me 🙂 That is assuming the wife will let me, she is afraid the Trump Nazis might show up…

Mike Pence $ Begging 1 001Mike Pence $ Begging 2 001Mike Pence $ Begging 3 001Mike Pence $ Begging 4 001

Here is my reply:

Fuck you Mike Pence. Fuck you Donald Trump. Fuck you, to every one of you treasonous republican rat bastards in the House, and the Senate, for failing to act on this out of control POTUS.

If ever there was a time for good people to stand up and do the right thing, this is it. The right thing is to vote out you bunch of goddamn lying, cheating, deviously underhanded, thieves, liars, and crooks. Since day one this administration has attacked every institution that holds sleazy bastards like you accountable. You have attacked clean air, clean water, the poor, the downtrodden, the immigrants seeking asylum, everything worth working towards in this country you have set back by 20 years. You have attacked the press, the FBI, and law enforcement in general. You have even attacked our allies and in the meantime managed to cozy up to dictators across the globe. All of this while being covered by the slime of the Russian collusion scandal. There seems to be no end of scandal nor any bottom to how low this can go.

The only thing you (Trump administration, R’s in general) have managed to accomplish politically, is to make America a laughingstock of the world. That and passing tax cuts and roll backs on regulations to make the filthy rich even moreso, at the expense of every hardworking American in this country, as well as the environment we are a part of.

You should be ashamed of yourselves, yet apparently none of you pathetic low life bigoted republican assholes have the simple decency to be ashamed or the vision to do the right thing. I hope every one of you cowering, gutless, accomplices… get tarred, feathered, and ridden out of town on a rough hewn rail. That is what it would take, to make this country great again.

Take your begging for money screed, full of mistruths and lies, and shove it firmly up your republican ass.

I’ll be voting Democrat till the end of my days. You can thank everyone in this administration, who hasn’t the moral fibre to walk out already, for that.

Sincerely,
Shelldigger
PS: My apologies to any Republican having the bravery to speak out against this administration, who may have got caught up within my broad stroke of the brush. There are maybe a handful undeserving of my words. The rest of you, you know who you are, and so do we, the people.
PPS: If my country needs a Paul Revere, I’m ready to ride. (end reply)

Anyone with me?

  1. Now you know why I gave up tv and news ten years ago. Life is good without it.

    • My little brother was in the Iraq invasion force, I was glued to CNN for a couple of months. Every spare moment I had I was looking for news, or listening for anything on the division he was in. It made me a nervous wreck. I had to stop watching news then for my personal health and welfare. I’m almost there again now I think…

      So yeah, I hear ya.

  2. Right there with you Shell!!! That is why I completly deactivated my Facebook — it’s useless anyway for any meaningful dialogue, let alone it isn’t safe from the Russians. LOL 😉

    • FB is the ebil! I actually have a FB account, primarily for keeping up with a blogger who will post there sometimes, and to occaisionally attempt a search for old friends I grew up with. I do not post there. I do not want my family to know I have that account… I might spend 2 minutes there once every 2 months and that’s it.

I see these FB ads of recent, about how they are really sorry and blah, blah, blah. They are still scanning every post, gathering profiles, and using it to their advantage, they don’t mention that, I wonder why?

      • There are pros about advancing technology (internet, etc.) and their are most DEFINITELY cons to advancing technology. The latter I view like having orgies every single day and night (on the internet) without ANY protection whatsoever… and I feel that way even with Nortor or McAfee, etc!

  3. Can’t blame you. I’m thousands of kilometers away from that Orange Dirty Bomb and I’m so fucking sick of that shit show.

  4. I’m right with you. I don’t watch TV news, and I’ve never joined FB. Lately I’ve been having daydreams about infiltrating Republican events and hitting each of those theocratic politicians over the head with a rolled-up newspaper. “Bad! Bad person! Stop it!!”

Be sure to fill that return envelope with some other stuff too, to make it heavier. I understand they have to pay the cost of those return envelopes by weight, so it will cost them more.

    • Ok, I’ll tell them Ubi told me to put those bullets in there 😉 (Just kidding! Just kidding, this being the internet where everyone takes everything silly the wrong damn way I have to say that)

I like your daydream. It is better than mine 😉

  5. Great letter, but Pence will never see it, nor do they care. But it does make you feel better for the moment.

I do follow the news and several blogs right here that have to do with politics and current events issues. Just me…but I like to stay informed as best as I can. Why? I don’t really know other than I just feel inclined and I have a curious nature.

Does it upset me? Yes, but I can look at it as a study in people and history and the follies of man…knowing that it will never change, which is sad. A few brave souls out there, a few really good thoughtful rational people, but there is a shift away from that to the ultimate end of this, which is self destruction. In the grand scheme of the universe, it doesn’t really matter and I guess that’s why I can follow it, not get overly upset and go about my life as usual.

    • I, too, like to stay informed. Yes, it can get rather upsetting at times. I mean, like asking yourself if people who support some of the stuff tRumpsky does are really THAT stupid!??!

I think one of the reasons I continue is because I keep hoping that one of these days the news will be headlined with something like … “Congress moves to impeach Trump!” -or- “Mueller presents his findings proving Trump’s illegal ties to Russia!” -or- “Reputable psychologists strongly recommend Trump be removed from office!”

But, having said that, I can totally appreciate anyone who puts their health and well-being ahead of being a news junkie.

      • As I said to MaryP, I still watch a fair amount of news, I just cant take much of it. Too quickly I’m irritated, and after a fair bit of irritation it puts you in a place you dont really want to be. When that happens, I do have to get up and walk out, and ignore it for a couple of days.

I may have to go all out Jim, and just give it all up one of these days, just because I treasure my sanity. If I could attend a protest, a walk, or a march, or just be able to actually do anything positive with my emotion, I’d feel better. At least I could say I did something.

    • 🙂 You are where I was at 6 months ago. My fuse is just 6 months shorter 😉

I do still tune in to cable news regularly, but I have to limit my time. When I get to the point where I want to throw a brick at the TV, I have to go do something else… But here’s the thing, I get to that point before a 1 hour program can finish. I’ve been gobbledygook-news slapped-with a huge side of wtf?- And a topping of “how can we continue to let this happen?” And then without warning I get seconds on the wtf? 🙂

  6. Love your response to that letter. I, too, try to stay away from 24/7 news. I feel I must pop in to YouTube from time to time to see what’s happening and which earned benefit I’m liable to lose next. It is maddening.

    • … which earned benefit I’m liable to lose next

Speaking of which … I don’t know if it’s valid or not (I couldn’t find any verification online), but there was a recent FB post by someone who declared her husband had been in the marines for over 23 years and he had just received notice that dental benefits for vets were being removed at the end of this year.

But the two-faced, orange-tinged, mentally disturbed individual currently “leading” this country (into fascism) LOVES vets!

Again, I say, it may not be true … but most definitely not surprising if it IS true.

    • Thanks man, let me know if something like that happens it will probablay affect me as well.

I gotta pop in over at your blog so I can get a laugh 🙂 That would make me feel better 🙂
