Republicans Sicken Me.

They passed the enormous tax bill that fucks the poor and feeds the rich. Adding to our national debt by a paltry 1.5 T.

I hope that this is the last straw for all of the hangers on who really want to believe that the R’s are acting in the interests of the people. The only interest they have is how best to screw us, screw the environment, screw the planet, screw everything and everybody, and in the process line their pockets with piles of $$.

My only hope now is that Mueller is the iceburg to the Titanic. And that people come to understand what has been done to us and our country, all in the name of democracy. In the name of progress, in the name of rocket fuel to the economy.

Bullshit!

Profit and its best friend greed (Yes I stole this from our conversation Mak) is what is at work here. The absolute unscrupulous desire for a legislative win is what is at work here. These assholes passed this bill without even knowing what exactly is in it! They kept it all a big secret from everyone until they dropped it in the lap of the Senate last night, and pushed like a runaway locomotive to get it passed immediately. Before anyone could figure out what shenanigans they have pulled.

This bodes not well for our country. This is not how legislation should be done. This is running roughshod all over what is supposed to be a democracy. This is a despicable act by a desperate Senate, that is probably hoping this bill will be the crowning achievment of this administration, just before the iceburg sneaks up on them. Like the Titanic. She is sinking, and I hope each and every R that was a party to this legislation, is on board when she goes down.

And Nero plays as Rome burns.

If the revolution is taking applications, CALL ME!

  1. Yes, stupidity is its own reward. And … it ain’t over yet. They have to reconcile the two bills and then vote again on the reconciliation. I sincerely hope that irreconcilable differences happen. If not, did anyone not expect the Repubs to overplay their hand? They always do. We’ll find out if there are political ramifications later.

    • Yes, I am aware they have to reconcile and do it again. In the meantime, just maybe, more will become known about the “secret tax bill.” Enough that will turn a few R’s with scruples (if such a thing exists) in the other direction.

My hope dwindles however. In the face of all of the mob like mentality of our government, it feels like a grim inevitability we will be so screwed from this administration it will take decades to recover to some form of sanity.

  2. I fucking HATE Repukelicans! Like you, I hope all this blatantly sick shit costs them at the polls next year. They’re not even remotely attempting to hide the fact that their mouths are securely stitched to the anuses of the wealthy and they’ve no concern for democracy, decency, or humanity. This administration and the Repukelicans who are feeding off of it is the worse I’ve ever seen in my lifetime. Let’s hope it ends because I can’t take much more of this.

Better words to describe what we are seeing cannot be said my friend.

      • I’m hoping the 2018 election at least gives us back the House. I depend on programs like Medicare and SSDI to live. These fuckers want to eliminate them to pay for their tax cuts for the rich. Jesus, what fuckers.

        • I’m in the same boat as you.

They are trying as best they can to funnel the process towards that goal. This so called tax bill, if it makes it through the entire process, will help them get there. And deepen their pockets along the way. A win win for these despicable freaking toads.

They might as well be knocking over little old ladies on the street and taking their $. Then bragging about it! This is how low they have become.

  4. You know, of course, who was behind the rush … and the secrecy … and the “legislative win” …

Go Mueller! Kick this investigation in the ass and let’s get rid of these shysters!

  5. The time is long since passed that I could see in ‘conservatives’ a different way of thinking, another point of view on what is best for this country. No I see in them only malice and dishonesty.

    • You know it wasn’t that long ago I bought into the R ideology. I hate to admit it, but it’s true. The day after Obama was elected for his first term, and I saw the hate, disgust, the ever so… not in any way subtle racism plastered all over the tv, was the day I turned to D. I have seen no reason since to not see in the R party exactly as you do.

Nor do I expect to in the forseeable future.

…and welcome to this humble blog sir!

  6. My brother, you are not in a democracy. You are in a tyranny or a something related to it but no democracy.
Hopefully at the end of all this, your country people will demand a democratic government and maybe demand that you stop supporting or installing despots in the rest of the world
